Gulf Rose Plum is a compact early season fruiting tree with spreading branches and a white spring bloom. Its deep red-pink to rose skin with a juicy sweet-tart flavor are ready for harvest in late spring and are excellent for fresh eating, canning, and preserves. Grows best in full sun and rich, moist well-drained soils. Gulf Rose needs a pollinator and has a low chill requirements of 150-250 hours.
