Monrovia® Hick's Yew is a dense slow-growing evergreen shrub with tightly upright branches and dark green needle like foliage. As it is a female cultivar it does not produces red berries instead of cones. Best planted in moist and sandy well-drained soils.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Susceptible to winter burn, especially when planted in unprotected areas. Twig and needle blight may be a problem, as well as mealybugs, mites, and scale in some areas. Rot rot may occur in poorly drained soils.
