Monrovia® Elephant Ear Plant is a bulb perennial grown for its large, deep green arrow-shaped foliage with wavy margins and thick silvery veins and purple undersides.  Rarely blooms indoors.   Grows best with bright indirect sun, high humidity, and consistently moist well-drained soils.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Water when the first inch of topsoil is dry to the touch. Lessen watering in winter. Fertilize with low-dose fertilizer 1-2 times a month during the growing season. Flush the potting mix every 2-3 months. Susceptible to burning if there is too much sun.
