SlingShot Cherry Tartwheel Petunia is a tender semi-trailing herbaceous perennial grown as an annual when outside, that forms a tidy mound of rich green foliage and non-stop flowering. The large fragrant funnel-shaped flowers are bright cherry red with a bold yellow star and bloom from mid spring until frost. Flowers best in part shade and rich, well-drained soils. Petunias do very well as container and house plants. The SlingShot series fills in quickly and holds its color and patterns well in heat and humidity.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance. Can cut back foliage in summer to stimulate grown and new flowers. Susceptible to root rot, gray mold, late blight and tobacco mosaic virus. Watch for aphids, flea beetles, slugs and snails.
