Telstar Pink Dianthus is a compact mat-forming perennial with tidy deep green foliage and sturdy hairy stems that do not flop. The spicy fragrant pink flowers speckled with lighter pink and a darker pink eye have frilly edges bloom heavily in loose clusters from early spring until frost. Blooms best in full sun and slightly alkaline, moist, and well-drained soil. The Telstar series has improved disease resistance. Deer resistant.
