Bubblegum Plum is a fruiting tree with an oval crown and a heavy production of unusual bubblegum scented white flowers in spring and a late summer harvest. The medium to large fruits are red-bronze with yellow flesh with an almost candy like sweetness. Bubblegum are self-fertile, meaning they don't require a pollinator to produce fruit, though they may produce more abundantly with a compatible pollinator nearby. Grows best in full sun and rich, moist well-drained soils. Has a chill requirement of 400-600 hours, and is highly disease resistant.
