Violet Riot Sage is a compact upright herbaceous perennial with aromatic medium green foliage and abundant spikes of tiny two-lipped vivid violet flowers that bloom from late spring to early summer.  Flowers best in full sun and moist well-drained soils.  Drought tolerant.
