Silky Fleece Lamb's Ear is a delicate fine-textured perennial grown for its thick, soft velvety silver-green foliage that form a mat above the ground.  Rarely flowers.  Grows best with afternoon shade in southern climates and dry to medium well-drained soils.  Drought tolerant.
