Lacey Blue Russian Sage is a compact woody perennial with fine upright aromatic silvery green foliage.   Whorls of lacy lavender-blue flowers bloom on silvery stems in airy pinnacles throughout summer into fall.  Best flowering in full sun and well-drained soils.  Drought tolerant once established.  DO NOT eat the leaves- they are mildly toxic, however the flowers are edible and have a peppery flavor.
