Starship Burgundy Cardinal Flower is a compact upright native herbaceous perennial with a uniform habit and deep green to bronze green foliage. Tall stalks of burgundy red tubular flowers bloom from mid summer into fall. Prefers afternoon shade and moist to wet well-drained soil. Foliage is toxic if ingested.
