Silver Gem Prostrate Blue Violet is a native evergreen perennial with trailing stems and silvery-green heart shaped foliage with burgundy undresides. Solidary bluish-lavender flowers bloom in spring and continue to rebloom sporadically into fall. Grows best with part shade and moist rich well-drained soils. Exceptionally drought tolerant once established.
