Monrovia® Cherry Pie Dianthus is a compact mat-forming perennial with tidy silver green foliage and sturdy hairy stems that do not flop. The deep red flowers have a spicy fragrance and bloom first in spring and can continue to intermediately bloom through fall if deadheaded. Blooms best in full sun and slightly alkaline, moist, and well-drained soil.
