Petunia are tender herbaceous perennial that are grown as annuals outside with small green foliage and non-stop flowering. The fragrant tunnel shaped flowers can come in nearly every color except brown and black, and bloom from spring until frost. Flowers best in part shade and rich, well-drained soils. Petunias do very well as container and house plants.
