Bell Pepper is a fast growing upright annual that produces large fruits that are ready for harvest in 70-80 days (green) to 90-120 days (full color for red, yellow, or orange depending on variety). The bell shaped pods are typically 3" wide, and are excellent for deep frying and stir fries. The underripe green peppers have a mild sweetness with a tang, while the fully ripened colors are sweeter. Best if grown in full sun and rich, moist, acidic well-drained soils.
