Monrovia® Adanson's Swiss-cheese Plant is a petite vining evergreen perennial with dark green heat-shaped foliage that develops holes as it ages. Creamy to tan flowers bloom in summer, but the fruit is rarely produced indoors. Grows best with bright indirect sun with protection from afternoon sun and consistently moist well-drained soils. MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Susceptible to the common houseplant pests. Watch for scale, aphids, mealybugs, thrips and spider mites. Water when top soil is nearly dry to the touch. If pruning is needed, do it in spring and just past a leaf node. Do not prune down to less than 25% of the plant. If leaves turn yellow its overwatered, if they turn black its getting too much direct sun. NOTE: may be a problem for house pets.
