Lipstick Maltese Cross is a rugged perennial with upright bronze-green foliage.  Tall stems sport large scarlet red-orange flowers in summer that are followed by attractive seedpods in fall.  Best color in full sun and moist well-drained soil.   Drought tolerant once established.
