Morning Star Althea (also known as Rose of Sharon) is a variety of Hibiscus syriacus that features lovely white semi-double star-shaped flowers with a red center. Rose of Sharon shrubs are known for their showy summer blooms and relatively easy care. Best bloom in full sun and moist well-drained soils.
