Capitan Purple White Dianthus is a dwarf mat-forming evergreen perennial with deep green foliage and sturdy hairy stems. Clusters of fragrant dark near-black purple double flowers with fine white edging and spots bloom continuously from spring through fall if deadheaded. Blooms best in full sun and slightly alkaline, moist, and well-drained soil.
