Monrovia® Deep Purple Spanish Lavender is a woody evergreen perennial with highly aromatic grey-green leaves. The stems end with thick deep purple flowerheads with large upright purple petals on top resembling butterfly wings all summer. Grows best in full sun and dry to medium well drained alkaline soils. Incredibly drought resistant.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Well drained soils is essential to prevent root rot- mulch with rocks to combat high humidity. Susceptible to leaf and root rot. Deadheading will promote continued blooms. Toxic to pets.
