Gold Standard Tall Tickseed is a sturdy upright clumping perennial with narrow aromatic green foliage that does not flop regardless of height. Its large yellow daisy-like flowers with black center disks bloom heavily from late summer well into fall. Prefers full sun and dry to medium well-drained soil. Drought, humidity, and road salt tolerance. Gold Standard has excellent disease.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Gold Standard is a non-aggressive variety. Crown rot may occur in moist, poorly-drained soils. Foliage decline may occur in hot summers if the soil is allowed to dry out. Snails and slugs can be a problem.
