Perilla Tricolor is a tender shade-loving evergreen perennial that quickly spreads and is treated as an annual. Tricolor looks more like a Coleus than its own species with similar dramatic foliage patterns. The serrated foliage emerges green and quickly turns dusky purple with a rosy center flame. Best color in part sun and moist to dry well-drained soils. Has high heat and drought resistance.
