French Lavender is a compact woody evergreen perennial with highly aromatic, downy grey-green leaves that have deep round-tipped fringes. The flowering stems end in thick flowerheads with upright light violet petals bloom from late spring to fall. Can bloom into winter in the deep south Grows best in full sun and dry to medium well drained alkaline soils. Incredibly drought resistant.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Well drained soils is essential to prevent root rot- mulch with rocks to combat high humidity. Susceptible to leaf and root rot. Deadheading will promote continued blooms. Toxic to pets.
