Wine & Roses Weigela is a dwarf spreading deciduous shrub with dense glossy dark purple foliage. Blooms of glossy rose-pink funnel-shaped flowers begin in spring. Fall color and fruit are insignificant. Best flowering and color with full sun and rich, moist well-drained soils. Can tolerate some light shade.
