Spilled Wine Weigela is a dwarf spreading deciduous shrub with dense wavy dark black-purple foliage.  Blooms of hot pink funnel-shaped flowers begin in spring and sporadically again in summer.  Fall color and fruit are insignificant.  Best flowering and color with full sun and rich, moist well-drained soils.
