Purple Spreader Garden Verbena is a spreading basal-form herbaceous perennial with glossy deep green serrated lance-like leaves. The wiry branched stems are lightly leafed and are topped by large clusters of rich bright purple flowers from midsummer to fall, attracting butterflies. Grows best with full sun and well-drained soils. Drought tolerant.
