Brandywine Foam Flower is a native shade-loving semi-evergreen perennial that grows in dense clumps of light green heart shaped lobed foliage with dark red centers that turns bronze in fall and winter. Airy raceme sporting delicate creamy white flowers bloom in spring. Flowers best in part shade and moist rich soils.
Tiarella cordifolia is an early spring nectar source for many butterflies, moths, bees, and other pollinators, and has good resistance to deer.
