Crown Jewels Cleyera is a broadleaf evergreen shrub with a dense upright habit and variegated foliage that emerges bold red and turns bronze in fall. The dark green foliage is marbled with grey and has a yellow to gold edging. Its fragrant downward-facing clusters of white flowers bloom in late spring followed by shiny black fruit. Grows best with part sun and moist, well-drained soil.
