Nightfall Japanese Snowbell is a compact deciduous flowering tree with a cascading habit that weeps to the ground. Its elliptical foliage emerges dark purple and mature to dark bronze-green. The fragrant clusters of pure white pendular bell-shaped flowers on red stems bloom in late spring and early summer and may experience a fall bloom with adequate moisture. Grows best in full sun and rich, well-drained acidic soil.
