Firegold Spirea is a dense upright mounding deciduous shrub with oval leaves that are soft yellow on new growth and matures to lemon yellow before turning lemon-lime in fall. Large panicles of white flattop flower cluster arch from the plant in later spring to summer. Grows best in full sun and well-drained soils. Removed spent flowers to encourage additional bloom.
