Saltmeadow Cordgrass is a dense clumping-forming coastal native grass with rolling wiry bright green foliage turns creamy soft browns in fall. The flowers and seed heads directly on the stems and are inconspicuous. Grows best in full sun and moist to wet soils. Lightly drought tolerant once established. Can grow to much taller in freshwater.
