Vista Red Salvia is a dwarf long-blooming herbaceous perennial grown as an annual with medium green foliage. The short dark spikes of two-lipped fire engine red tubular flowers with matching calyxes bloom from late spring into fall if dead headed. Flowers best in full sun and moist well-drained soils. Drought tolerant. The Vista series has improved heat performance and will continue to flower strongly in high summer heat.
