Caroline Everbearing Raspberry is a small upright thorny deciduous shrub primarily grown for its fruit.  The small white flowers bloom in spring attracting butterflies and produces abundant large, red conical raspberries with a sweet tang for 8 weeks.  Grows best in full sun and rich, moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils.  Caroline has improved disease resistance and is resistant to root rot.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:  Medium Maintenance.  Intolerant of wet soils- can lead to root rot.  Prune fruiting canes and weak canes immediately after fruiting, and as needed in winter.  Remove suckers and trimmings to prevent rooting.  Anthracnose, botrytis and root rot can be serious problems.  Cane and crown borers are potential serious pests.
