Natchez Thornless Blackberry is an early ripening variety of the deciduous shrub that produces heavy yields but would benefit from trellising.  The pink-white rose-like flowers give way to clusters of fruits in which ripen in summer.  Fruits best in full sun and rich, moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils.  Natchez is self-fruiting and has no reported disease problems, but is intolerant of wet soils.
