Monrovia® Seaside Swirl Blush Rugosa Rose is a compact thorny deciduous shrub with serrated deep green foliage that turns golden yellow in fall. The abundant blooms of intensely fragrant, blush pink semi-double flowers and appear mid spring into fall, and are followed by orange rosehips. Best grown in full sun and rich, moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils. Seaside Swirl is noted for excellent disease resistance and salt tolerance.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Medium Maintenance. Roses are susceptible to powdery mildew, black spot, rust, and rose rosette and require regular fungicide in humid areas that experience a lot of rainfall. Pest issues include aphids, borers, scale, mites thrips, midges, and leafhoppers. Rugosa is suckering and will form dense colonies unless restrained.
