Dwarf Pomegranate is a dwarf thorny deciduous shrub grown for its edible fruit.  The bronze new growth becomes a shiny green and earns an attractive shade of yellow in fall if grown outside.  The flowers and fruit are also dwarfed, with the orange-red flowers in summer and will produce fruits if temperatures do not drop below 40 year-round.  Dwarf Pomegranate can produce fruit both outdoors and as an indoor plant. Best grown in full sun and rich well-drained soils.
