Waneta Plum is a cold-hardy deciduous fruiting tree with a showy display of fragrant white flowers. The strong crop of large deep red clingstone fruits have a balanced sweet-tart flavor with hint of mango ripen in late summer. Grows best in full sun and rich, moist well-drained soils. Waneta needs a pollinator to set fruit, Tonka is suggested.
