Ozark Premier Plum is a fruiting deciduous tree with a spreading crown and showy display of fragrant white flowers but is primarily grown for its extra large, semi-freestone summer fruit. Its heavy bearing of red colored summer fruits have a firm and sweet yellow flesh flavor that is good fresh or used for cooking. Grows best in full sun and rich, moist well-drained soils. Ozark Premier is self-pollinating and starts producing within 3-6 yrs wit ha chill requirement of 700-800 hours.
