Redhaven Peach is an easy care fruiting deciduous tree with spreading branches and a heavy crop of freestone peaches. Fall foliage is bright gold. Its fragrant pink flowers bloom in mid-spring, avoiding frost risk and attracting butterflies. The large fruits have smooth orange-red skin and flavorful sweet yellow flesh that ripens by mid to late summer. Grows best in full sun and rich, moist well-drained soils. Redhaven is self-pollinating and resistant to leaf spot.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: High Maintenance. Needs regular watering. Peaches have a lot of pest and disease issues and need regular spraying to ensure good crop. Potential pests include tree borer, fruit moth, root nematodes, and aphids. Late spring frosts can severely damage flower buds. Fallen fruit can be messy if not harvested.
