Elberta Peach is the most popular variety of peach, a deciduous tree primarily grown for its beautiful display of fragrant pink blooms and large edible fruit. Its freestone peaches are some of the sweetest available and ripens mid summer. Grows best in full sun and rich, moist well-drained soils. Elberta a is pest-resistant and self-fertile, though planting with other peaches would increase the yield.
