August Prince Peach is a vigorous deciduous tree with a narrow crown primarily grown for its heavy crop of freestone late-season fruit. A profuse blooms of showy fragrant pink flowers bloom in spring on bare branches attracting butterflies. The juicy red skin fruits have firm, melting flesh with a traditional sweet-tang ready for harvest in July. Grows best in full sun and rich, moist well-drained soils. August Prince is a self pollinator and has 750-800 hours chill requirement.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: High Maintenance. Needs regular watering. Peaches have a lot of pest and disease issues and need regular spraying to ensure good crop.
