MissionBells Deep Rose Beardtongue is a tidy native herbaceous perennial with rigid upright burgundy stems and green lance-shaped foliage.  Loose raceme of red buds open to deep rose tubular flowers with distinct candy-striping in the throat bloom from mid summer to mid fall if deadheaded.  Grows best in partial sun and dry to medium well-drained soil.  Drought and heat tolerant.
