Allegheny Spurge is a native shade-loving semi-evergreen perennial that forms a dense carpet of matte blue-green foliage mottled with purple and white. Tiny but fragrant whitish-green flowers bloom on terminal spikes in early spring before the foliage emerges. Grows best in filtered shade and rich acidic soils.
