Ashe Magnolia, Bigleaf Magnolia
Magnolia Ashei
Ashe Magnolia is a small but fast growing native deciduous tree with huge violin-shaped apple green foliage. Its massive fragrant creamy white flowers that can be as large as 10" across bloom closer to eye height and later in spring than most magnolias. Best growth in part sun and moist, slightly-acidic, well-drained soil. Ashe can start blooming at a very young age and has humidity tolerance.
