Baggesen's Gold Honeysuckle is a dense spreading evergreen shrub with arching branches and small ovate leaves resembling bowood. The foliage emerges gold, fades to chartreuse in fall, and turns bronzy in winter. The small fragrant creamy white flowers bloom in spring and are followed by sparse purple fruits in fall. Best color in part sun and well-drained soil.
