Osage Crape Myrtle is a large rounded deciduous shrub with smooth exfoliating tan-brown bark with light grey inner bark. The foliage is a glossy green that turns fiery red with fall, while the large bright pink panicles bloom on new wood in summer. Best color in full sun and rich well-drained soil. Osage is completely resistant to powdery mildew.
