Dwarf Crested Iris is a rapidly spreading native deciduous perennial with long, sword-like medium green foliage that fans upwards. Very short stems sport three parted pale blue, lilac, or lavender flowers with gold crests on the falls in spring, attracting bees. Grows best in rich, slightly acidic, moist well-drained soils. Drought tolerant once established.
