China Boy Holly is an upright, densely branching evergreen shrub that with sharp-toothed, glossy dark green leaves. China Boy is a male cultivar primarily used as a pollinizer for China Girl. Best planted in moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils. Hollies are dioecious and need both male and female plants to produce fruit.
