Pee Gee Hydrangea is a massive, vigorous upright deciduous shrub with medium green foliage that turns yellow in fall. Its profuse flowering of dense conical panicles that arches the branches in full bloom open creamy white and slowly mature to pink in late summer, before fading to tan. The blooms persist well into fall and attract butterflies. While can tolerate full sun, its best blooms are in part sun and rich, moist well-drained acidic soils.
