Sweet Summer Hydrangea is a compact deciduous shrub with dense blooms that persist until frost. The panicles bloom white and mature to pink starting from the bottom creating color layers and attracting pollinators. Best bloom in partial sun and rich, moist well-drained soils.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Medium Maintenance. Mulch soil to maintain moisture and overwinter. If pruning is needed do so after flowering. Slight susceptibility to bud blight, wilt, leaf spot, and mildew. Aphids are occasional problems.
