Hamptons Hydrangea is a compact reblooming deciduous shrub with serrated dark green leaves that emerge marron and turn cinnamon red in fall.  Its abundant large-flowered lacecap panicles bloom throughout summer are soft pink regardless of the soil PH with darker pink edging and matures to lavender as it ages, attracting butterflies and pollinators all the while.  Best bloom in partial sun and rich, moist well-drained soils.  The Seaside Serenade series is a Monrovia exclusive that has longer lasting blooms and extra sturdy stems, and resists sun scorching.
